Job Overview:

PCN Entertainment is searching for a Director of Research and Insights who will be responsible for analyzing consumer data, identifying key insights, and translating findings into actionable business recommendations. This role will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and strategy teams to inform decision-making and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about understanding consumer behavior across nightlife entertainment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative consumer data from various sources (e.g., surveys, focus groups, first-party data, social media, and sales data).
  • Develop and deliver compelling reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging consumer behaviors to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute research projects that address business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and influence product development and marketing strategies.
  • Design and manage consumer surveys, including questionnaire development and data analysis.
  • Use statistical tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports.
  • Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-4 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, SPSS, SAS, R, Python).
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior theories and research methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in a consumer-facing industry (e.g. hospitality, nightlife, technology).
  • Familiarity with qualitative research techniques (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews).
  • Understanding of statistical modeling and advanced analytics.
